The 2GB card is OK for gaming today. The 1GB card is going to have VRAM issues with even midrange gaming (like Skyrim with better textures).

Has to agree with you on the lifetime warranty thing. That is far more reassuring especially if one plans on pushing this card for long stretches either with folding or graphic intensive games.

Ended up being 170 out the door after using v.me. 20 dollar rebate makes it 150. Possibly sell the game codes and the ram for ~60 together. 90 bucks for this card is slick as heck.
