You are completely right. The issue with artificial sweeteners is the fact that they still raise your insulin when you ingest them. Xylitol(a common gum sweetener) is the only sweetener that does not raise your insulin levels. Remember, high insulin sensitivity = highest possibility of sugar/amino acid absorption by cells = more anabolic effect.

This is why some really pro workout junkies only eat during a certain time slot during the day (say 4-7pm). They eat 3000 calories' worth and then starve the rest of the time until the next day. It's also a good way for type 2 diabets to eat, but that's never going to happen.

When you compare protein you do not ask yourself, "how much does it cost per pound".

You need to ask yourself, "how much protein do I get per dollar or how much does 1 gram of protein cost".

Thats why deals like this look so good. But really this deal was never good...

I got the 9.2lbs for $45 shipped.. otherwise no it wouldn't be that great of a deal..

The deal was good for the 4.4 or 4.6 lb tubs though. Buying the larger tubs it worked out to $44.97 for either 8.8 or 9.2 lbs of protein.

I did the same thing on Friday, talked to a csr and he told me that it might not fulfil so I got him to get me 2lb tubs, 4 of them for 40 with shipping included. Not a great deal but meh. I needed this stuff cuz I ran out of the ON casein blend

This thread was already made 2 days ago and I purchased the 4.4lb strawberry. Today I found out I am not getting any protein at all...Sorry to be the one to tell you but BB.com has discontinued this product and they will not HONOR any orders AT ALL. I talked to one of the chat representatives today. They messed up the "shipping" making it free shipping and also they received +500 orders which would have been about ~10.000$ in losses towards the company (at 8$, which is usually the shipping cost for +3lbs on US land, +50-100$ INTL cost orders)All your orders will be refunded... I'm pretty disappointed myself and was really happy thinking I'd get my stuff but I've already been refunded. I guess they would have processed the orders if they were like 20-50. But SO many people ordered, some of them ordering twice or 3 times the deal that they ended up discontinuing that way they won't process anyone's order.Especially those who got INTERNATIONAL free shipping, you think that's gonna happen at all? Shipping such heavy items up to 30lbs for free? You know that costs about 100-150$ just in shipping. They cancelled my order. After live chatting for 15 minutes, I could not get them to do something similar for me. This is in spite of my previous chat 2 days ago, in which another rep reassured me that the order would be shipped.

Called CSR and switched it to 4 2 lb tubs shipped

Just a info Have called CSR twice and both the times the associate dint said the 4lb tubs have been stopped or like that. Its just they dint wanted wait more then 14 days for back ordered hence providing replacements. Which i understand if you don't receive the cancellation email and decide to wait they would eventually be getting it back and would fulfill the order
