Government steals from us?

then blame the district officials for making that decision...a 2% reduction in the pre-planned increase is still an increase from the previous year, and should in no way whatsover call for closing a program, unless the decision makers are scum bags out to make a political point by making cuts that hurt the most, like the asshats (and i would argue criminals) at ICE who decided to release thousands of prisoners under the excuse of the sequester BEFORE the sequester even took effect.

Any closures or extreme actions not commensurate with a 2% decrease to the increase are NOT caused by the sequester, but by those making such agenda-driven decisions for the express purpose of making a political point, rather than doing their job which is to run things the best they can with the resources they have, which is what they are paid to do.

Moreover, the GOP made Obama the offer to give him the leeway to decide where to make the cuts so they would be least painful, but he essentially spat in their face and promised to veto the measure if it came to his desk.

see, that kind of run to victimhood is why the libs look like asses. There was no hostility whatsoever, but just like the people who scream 'racist' whenever someone says something they don't like, you immediately jump to accusations of hostility towards a protected class when there is none....the sooner you and your ilk quit your false jump behind the shield of a protected class or some other victim class, the sooner society as a whole can have real and constructive discussions about the serious problems facing our financial future....

the fact is resources are limited, and government can not, nor should it, do and be everything to everyone. You and your ilk's tactic of essentially screaming the equivalent of 'racist' at the slightest hint of something you don't like doesn't help reach a solution, but only exacerbates the problem.
