Most useless terms: ASAP - how bout earlier? YMMV - isn't that life? Do ___ going forward - any other way? I got x for $y on BF or last week - unless you have DeLorean with a flux capacitor Illegitimati non carborundum Wins: #1, #2, #3, #4, #5? Performance per bucks looks amazing. I have 560ti currently eying a 670 but will probably be at single monitor 1920x1080p for a few years, just looking for a bit more performance for next few years, tempting argh!
Edit, just bought online and price in cart ended up being $169.99 so $139.99 AR. You b@st@rds, you killed my wallet

Actually at stock you'd want to get the 570 if you're not running 1080p with anti-aliasing. If you're using AA at all you'd want to use the 7850 due to the bigger on board ram Benchies at stock http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Pr...549?vs=518 Points to get 7850
So if you're a stock user, don't mind increased power draw, use lower resolutions, don't use AA then this is the clear winner. $30 difference? Maybe this is a better deal in some scenarios. *Shrug, balance hands thrown up I don't know haha

7850 all the way. I own and highly recommend THIS ONE [newegg.com].
For $185 AR you get a couple of decent games (new Tomb Raider and Bioshock Infini...well, OK, one decent game and another one that's, er, free) and a card that runs dead silent, sips power, has yet to hit 60C under load and SHOULD OC quite briskly - 1200+ core isn't uncommon, and 1150 is the norm - and at those clocks you'll be in 580 land or close to it. It's a beast and a charmer of a card all at once. 570 is pointless. Please save your money or get something worthwhile for it... |
