I highly recommend induction cooking.
If you want to take an inexpensive foray into the induction world, you can try it for about $50 (when on sale, which happens a couple times a year on these units) with a "hotplate" style unit that works fantastically: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...D=FWbm470w You'll never go back! Why? It's the best of both worlds: 1) even more convenient than a smooth top electric (because the top doesn't heat up so food does not get baked on because of the lack of heat). 2) the precise control of gas . All other candidates will be like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

yes Induction really is the way to go the safety factor for me is a major selling point I can boil water take the pan off and touch the cook top we also use a towel on top of the cooktop to keep it clean it works really well.
this really is a killer price. |
