Go to first new post Issue
I need some tech help over here. I am having issues with SD. Ever since yesterday, when I click on "go to first new post" sign, I go to the first post I viewed yesterday. Example - I see 14 new posts in a thread, I click on it and it takes me the first post from yesterday that can be 100 posts away from the end of the thread. In an hour, I see 10 new posts in that same thread, I click on it and it takes me to the same post that is now 110 posts away from the end of the thread. I have rebooted, I have signed out and signed back in, I have cleared cookies... Any ideas??? And I am not the only one. I am having the exact same issue. I will add that each post has the properly colored folder tab in the corner next to the date/time line. i.e. the posts that I haven't read have a correctly colored yellow square and the posts that I have already read have a correctly colored light blue square. So SD seems to know which posts are new -- i.e. which ones I have and haven't read so I don't see why it brings me to the incorrect post when I click on the "go to first new post" icon.

 For the developers, I wanted to report another issue with viewing the first unread post. Over the past couple weeks, I've noticed that whenever I try to read new posts in the Slickdeals App thread, I am taken to the wrong place, and usually the wrong page. The issue seems to be specific to this particular thread in my case. Thanks.

I have been having the same problem . I tried rebooting, signing in and out also but did not work.. I then went thru Google Chrome and its working just fine now. I was using internet explorer.

Using IE, and my subscription page, when I click the 'first unread' button, I get taken back to where I was last on Wednesday, I think. This started sometime Wednesday night.
When I view SD on my smartphone and click the 'first unread' button, I never get taken to the next post. I get taken back to the last page I was on. This has been this way since I started viewing SD on my smartphone (months ago). Free is good
 Pay me? Even better! |

"First New Post" not working for me either (IE) as of a few days ago- tried above suggestion about going to "Last Post" but glitch still there afterwards.

Sort of along the same lines - sometimes some of the threads that I have set up to nofify me of a new post do not go to the new post when I click the link in my email. Some threads - not all - just go to wherever over and over. This has been happening for a couple of days now.
