Go to first new post Issue

NVM NVM, it works randomly. Clicking on the number of unread posts left of the thread seems to work better than the little squarish thing at the front of the thread title.

Could the new Flash Player update have anything to do with this issue? Just a wild guess which may be incorrect...

I think it's thread specific. On certain threads, the feature works as designed; other threads, clicking on either the number of new posts, go to new post icon, or go to the last post icon takes me back to the same wrong post.

Okay, I logged out and back in; and that seemed to have solved the issue, for me

So I have logged out and logged back in, and that did not work. And I didn't update the flash player on one of the two computers I use that I am having the trouble on, so that's not it either.

All of my threads go back to the next post after approximately 2/27 at 3pm, if that helps anyone who might be working on this.

I would check to see if mine were the same, but I'm not having issues with multiple threads at this time.

No, we do not use Flash or Java anywhere in the forums (not counting ads)

It's doing it to me on this thread. And the Target deals thread in the DS forum.

I am having this problem in on all the threads I use. Orginally i would go to the date of 2/27. I tried signing out & signing back in & now Im stuck with it bringing me to 3/3, which is the date I signed out & back in. This is annoying

I too am having the problem mentioned above re: subscribed threads. When I hit "first new post" it brings me to 2/27. When I hit "view first unread" it brings me to 3/3.

Me too. It goes back further than where I left off.

I came to report the same issue. I come on multiple times daily, but for the past few days every time I click view first unread in a thread it takes me back to the same specified page every time, even though I have read well beyond it several times. I thought it was just a glitch on one thread so I didn’t think too much about it, since it was just a weekly one. But now that I have gone to another one it happens there.

Heres the kicker, the first thread that was doing it, isn't doing it anymore, its fine. The second thread is still doing it. I also tried loggig out and back in, reloading the thread, clearing cookies etc, it didnt help.

So, I have even gone to the pain and trouble of unsubscribing to every one of my threads. As I started resubscribing to them, some are going to the new point, but others are going right back to the old point. This is definitely not as easy to work with any more.
