An opened desktop PC, notebook or tablet PC that is free from defects in materials or workmanship can be returned (in new condition with original product packaging) within 30 days of the invoice date for a refund, subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price and related shipping expenses, all at Newegg’s sole discretion .
<-- maybe not as bad as it sounds, I bought two phones from newegg during BF for $65 each, opened them, used both for a day then saw they were $49 on Amazon Goldbox so I put the phones back in their boxes almost exactly as they came (some plastic wrapping was torn because originally it was taped) and took them back (literally drove them back to their pickup office in CA) , it took them 48 hours to review and refund but I got full money back.

Decent for sure, IMO. My 15R was $480, no 1080p, no dedicated graphics, but more HDD.

I have just purchased one. My older 17incher is getting really old, with first gen i3, 1600x900 resolution, no backlit keyboard, no USB 3.0, it's a great step up. Oh and my battery is about to die, 45 mins work time. The only downside is Win8, but you can't resist progress no matter how stinky it is or if someone just pushing it over you even if you don't want. I will miss Win7. Now just have to wait for another good deal on SSD. How can I find out if this lappy supports SATA-III?

This is a great price. I bought a Dell 15R Special Edition from the Dell outlet (refurb) for around $550 a few months ago, with just about the same exact specs (i5 3210M, AMD/ATI 7730M, 750GB drive). The only downside here is that it's a 17" so not quite as portable, but if you don't mind that or will be mostly using it on a desktop, it's definitely worth consideration.
