So what are you using now? There are zero games out there the Tegra 3 processor can't handle. In fact, there's so few Tegra 3 games it's insane to pay more for a better processor.

You're not comparing apples to apples. If you look at Android flagship Nexus devices they are supported at least for 2 years with free software upgrades.
But yes buying a non Nexus Android devices may leave you with buyers remorse if the manufacturer doesn't pour money into the device providing updates even though it is discontinued.
I anticipate the Nexus 7 will get at least 5.0 Key Lime Pie if not the version after that.

Get TPU or protective cases for these asap. Very thin glass - not Gorilla Glass.

I've got both of these cases. The second is more protective, but I prefer the first one. The second's cover doesn't flip around all the way, so playing app games is somewhat of a pain. And the tabs are pretty firm, so taking the cover on/off could strip the paint over time.

Really? After many months of use it's as fluid as ever. Unless you already have all apple or need a specific ipad app, you might as well save the $ and get this great little tablet.

My experience with this has been miserable. I hated the stuttering so after a few days (< 1week) I put it back on craigslist for about $200. There were no takers for 3months and many low ballers. Finally I sold it for $150. It seems there are android fans many of them out there who want newbies to fork up the cash so they can experience it, hate it and put it for sale at a song so these fans can grab it. thats been my observation.

So what can you do?

Well, go to a store, try the product yourself and see if you like the stutter before you commit. Dont assume you can sell this on craigslist at anywhere near the price you paid for it new. Skip the deals and just go to craigslist and pick one up, in new condition for a song.

As for posts countering my argument that this thing stutters like crazy, dont listen to us just go and experience it yourself before you buy. Dont listen to Google's review, they are lying through their teeth when they say they fixed the stuttering.
