Mine had a bunch of platinums, and quite a few ultra's.
I did buy up all the 5w30 ultra earlier in the week (4 containers). |

Is this deal dead? I see Pennzoil Ultra for $7.82 / Qt which makes it almost $40 for oil - $10 rebate = $30 for 5 Qt ...

^^Bad idea. If a vehicle calls for 0w20, don't run 5w30 in it. The thinner oil is necessary because of tighter clearances. Running too thick of an oil may result in inadequate lubrication and engine damage.

Mine 07 Accord calls for 5w-20 and i did us that till i hit around 90k and switched to 10w-30

I found a jar of "Ultra class synthetic" for $21, it does not say "full synthetic" like the platinum does. I guess it is a synthetic blend and does not qualify for the rebate?

I bought 2 since the limit is 2 but only submitted 1 submission online with a scanned copy of 2 receipts (uploaded a PDF, did not mail anything in). Will I receive a $20 rebate?

Can someone assist me with this :
http://www.pennzoil.co Pennzoil Ultra 5W-30 & Pennzoil Platinum SAE 5W-30 Full Synthetic Motor Oil But my mechanic insists that i use 10W40 ONLY as that is best for that high mileage. Can someone comment which one would be best to use ? Thank you ~ |

I received my first check a few days ago and like a few people have mentioned, I have not gotten the second one yet.
So, I called and even though the online promotions search tool was not showing the 2nd rebate, the cs rep said that it WAS showing that it processed in the system on their end and would be in the mail in the next week or so. I'll keep an eye out for it and update accordingly. Anyone worried about not getting both rebates just hang in there for a bit or give them a call. They were very friendly and helpful. |
