Some of the pros of the TF700 are:

• Optional Keyboard Dock
• 8MP Rear Camera

Thinner and lighter with metal build.
Better battery life
Keyboard dock is the biggest pro though.

Nexus has higher res screen and better support for updates and better performance

Nexus 10 is supposed to be the cheaper version of the Infinity both in price, build and functionality. Screen resolution is better on the Nexus but 1920x1080 is more than enough for a 10" tablet. Infinity over Nexus 10 any day.

Tom's Hardware recently wrote a review of the Nexus 10. Their recommendation was ultimately lukewarm. The hardware is good, probably faster than the Infinity in most respects (represented by the comparable Nexus 7). The Nexus 10's screen turned out to be a little disappointing. The massive pixel count is about all it has going for it.

Unless you're a true blood iPad hater, there is no tablet over 8" in the planet that can compete with the retina display of the ipad. mostly because there are more games and websites that are ipad-optimized so the experience cannot be topped. Android, with the new handsets will rule the smartphones and small tablets but it cannot compete with the ipad, even with the nexus 10 and Infinity.

You could not be further from the truth. Fact is the iPAD is absolutely WORHTLESS in business though people try their best. EXCEL is substantially easier to use on the TF700 vs any iPAD which requires 2 programs to use it properly. One to read, another to edit. iPAD uses the 50 year old 4:3 format, welcome to the new format world. No video stretching. Oh, wait, battery dead? I can go 18 HOURS on my TF700 with the older dock. PS3 bluetooth control native for games. USB, no problem. Video out to the hotel LCD, yep again, don't need to fiddle around with constant reboots like an iPAD. Video formats? Again, Apple rules it little puppets and tells them what format they need to upload for them to work. Android, none of those ridiculous restrictions. Just transfer video straight to the SD card-oh wait, iPAD does not have expandable memory.

Games, sorry, do some comparisons. They look far far better on the TF700 vs the 4:3 old iPAD. Get real, get updated. iPAD owners make me laugh at them in Starbucks. iPAD owner is someone that took out a student loan and will default on it later on. Well, most of them.

Or you could just use a laptop. I've got to agree with deymayor that large tablet apps are optimized for the iPad. For android, they look much, much better on a 7" tablet. I prefer the N7 to the iPad - not because of the OS, but because it's much easier to hold with one hand. Much more portable. Excel on anything under an 11.6" screen IMO is just too small. YMMV. And even on that size screen, it's tough to deal with.

The TF700, the iPad, and N7 are all awesome pieces of machinery. But none of them take the place of a full fledged laptop/ultrabook/ultraportable. We're close,but not there yet. The Surface Pro is just overpriced for what it is, and the screen is still too small IMO, plus the battery life is much too short. And it lacks the full size tablet apps optimized that the iPad has.

I paid $200 for the N7, $330 for an iPad 3, and $200 for an HP 3105m 11.6" ultra-portable. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. I use the HP more than any of them.
