Thread Details

I was needing to buy more refills for 2 phones and gave this site a go.

It gave me 7.5 % off of my 29.95 plan and the 55.00 plan.

Beats callingmart.com prices.

Pincheap.com

Site sells other refills also. You might want to check their prices for the refill you need to see if better discounts.

Good deal, you can usually find someone selling the PP 55 on ebay for $49 ($48.51 net after ebay bucks = 12% off) but you always have to give out your #.
I agree. I like to buy on Ebay especially with Ebay bucks but for instances like now when I need to buy a few cards, I don't have access to my Ebay bucks until April and I can't wait till then and don't see any discounts on my plans on Ebay.

Yeah, I'm not sure if PP has an agreement to not let sellers sell below retail...Six months ago there were multiple seller selling multiple quanities of PP plans/cards, now sellers only seem to sell one discounted card per time and they're always "newly listed"...This month I found it on my first try, last month I checked every hour and found one in the afternoon

But with the ebay bucks, we're talking like $.50 per 55 card.

I decided page plus was not for me since they will expire your cards if you don't use your airtime...
Don't they all do that on a prepaid/per-minute plan?

Wait.. the cards expire just sitting there? Or you mean they expire after you put the time on your phone?

I thought the cards might have a one-year expiration on them just sitting there, but I forget.

Just one more option:

I buy mine from Pindirectcell for what works out to a 9.8% discount using their loyalty program and Dwolla for payment method. The discount doesn't show until you login to your account though.

Anytime I can stick it to PayPal I take the chance and it's cool that this site passes the cc/PayPal processing savings onto their buyers (by using Dwolla which costs them next to nothing in transaction fees); that's worth something just in principle to me. Yes I had to buy into their loyalty program for $14, but they have always answered emails promptly and I don't have to A) monkey around by depositing cash into someone's account, B) play the points game (like with callingmart), and C) don't have to give them my phone numbers. You place the order, it emails me a quick receipt, and then once the Dwolla payment clears (day or two), it emails a status update and your online account shows the PINs.

the website says 1GB data, I hope it's a mistake.

Would have preferred not to use paypal myself, but there is no other payment options.
Sucks the callingmart codes expire theres like a gap between coupon and no coupon, where I always get caught without airtime.

I want to buy a 80 pin for a friend as a gift. I do not want the pin applied automatically. Can I do this?

It emails you a pin, doesnt apply to phone number you entered. Out of 3 phones we have on PP, mine said not recognized, so I just used one of the other numbers to buy an extra pin. All you have to do is enter 1 valid phone and order as many pins as you need then apply them to diff phones. It seems like some very basic validation.

I applied the pin online at pagepluscellular.com, but it doesn't appear in my "Current Balance"

How did you guys apply the pin?

EDIT: It showed up in my account after I logged out and logged back in.
