can't find one of these new from a reputable source to compare. The deal didn't get too far last time it was a refurb on ebay posted on SD in January. Everywhere appears to sell the refurbed ones. I'll pass.

OK I'm a dumb@ss. I'm having serious buyers remorse. I jumped on the deal so quickly, because there was one left and it was a great price, that I didn't look at the specs. Only 1 speed range (0 - 750rpm) with a measly 115in/lb of torque, 5hr recharge time, and many of the reviews I read say the thing can't drill through metal to save it's life, plus the chuck slips very badly. I know it's only 33 bucks, but for me my currect 12V NiCd is probably better than this thing - at least it drills through metal pretty decently. I just asked B&D to cancel my order.

B&D refunded my order this morning - they were very quick about it. Sorry somebody here didn't get their order because of my indecision. But at least now there's one more drill available for SD'ers next time this deal comes back.

Is the battery same as Dewalt's? Can I put the battery in my Dewalt 20v max?
