The Venture Bros.: The Complete Season 4 (Blu-ray) $15

It's not money, it just takes them a long time to make each season - not sure if it's still the case but I know initially they were using hand-inked cells and shit. I can appreciate that, and I do realize Dr. Hammer is a non-classically trained (i.e. self-taught) painter and everything but still, a real argument could be made for exploring more streamlined avenues of production. If they haven't already. I mean, they did change studios again and, predictably, some internets are already up in arms about Titmouse even though season 5 is still an enigma wrapped in a mystery wrapped in the leftover wrapping paper from Duke Nukem Forever and Black Mesa.

Well F me. I just bought this off Amazon last week for $34.

Is the entire season uncensored? I like the swearing I think it's funny when used at the right time.

I loved that show, used to watch it all the time back during seasons 1 and 2. Is it still being made?

I can't place where I heard/saw the interview but somewhere (the blog, twitter, adultswim.com ...idk) early on, they said that it's a network problem that sets them up for failure. CN waits for the ratings to come in for the full-season set, weigh their options, THEN let these guys know to start production. Then they have to write, draw, and then at the time they were sending it over to Japan to put the gloss on the animation.


Again, this is all years ago, so who knows what's true anymore.

I didn't like Season 3 so much when it was released uncensored. I thought it was more humorous with the the edits and censor bars.
But hey 15 bucks. I'm buying it.
