There is no comparison. The speaker is very loud...has noise cancellation, 20 hr talk time and 1080 hr standby time. It syncs with your contacts and will announce who is calling you... gives you the opportunity to "answer" or "ignore" via voice commands (completely hands free). Has a built in motion detector which shuts off in 10 min when not in the car. Auto on and off saves battery life. Streams music and works with SIRI. I bought it from Buydig and love it. This I'd my second one.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I have the Note II where the speaker is on the lower part of the back and I have a Civic. I just put it on speaker, slip it (no accessories) between the visor and roof and it's perfect. The speaker hangs out and the mic is on this end too so no one notices the difference.

Probably a waste, but in for two. Hopefully I will find them usefull?

I like Cruiser compared to Jabra. I bought this from buydig and returned it. I got the Jabra Cruiser 2 which has an FM transmitter.

How s this compared to Jabra Cruiser or Roadster in terms of sound quality?

You can compare all the features from the Jabra website [jabra.com]. I haven't tested the Cruiser or Roadster, but I am very satisfied with the sound quality of the Journey. The only Con I have is that the audio over Siri is a bit loud and I have to turn down the volume. You can't beat this for the price. I haven't seen it cheaper.

I don't care much for the FM Transmitter. I have had a couple of them and they never really work. Plus I think you have to tune your FM radio to a particular station. What if I want to listen to the radio? The Journey has a far longer standby time, which was more important to me.

I just got a second one. I'll be moving to California where they have cellphone use laws while driving. This should should come in handy there.
