I find it interesting that many opt for EA4500. Is it miles ahead of EA3500 if I am not interested in DLNA?

EA routers suck due to non availability of custom 3rd party firmware. Only one worth getting is E2500

Is the EA4500 worth the $18 extra over the EA3500? As far as I can see, the only thing it adds is 450mbps on the 5ghz band, but I don't think I'll be using that anytime soon..
Also, are none of the EA routers compatible with Tomato/DD-WRT/OpenWRT? How stable is the stock firmware (when reverted back to the classic local mode)... |
