After a lot of consumer backlash they provided firmware (software?) that didn't require you to manage your router through cloud connect. There may be other reasons for the low ratings...but I have yet to investigate.

Yep I bought coupon as I didn't read page 2. Received email last night while I was at work. Just tried it and has expired.

Don't want to argue with you but these 40% off codes are supposed to be single used only, and that's why they are being traded as high value coupons.

Now because you somehow obtained one and shared it in the forum, many orders went through using an identical 40% coupon code. This triggered an alert, and Linksys simply cancelled all outstanding 40% coupons, including those issued but hasn't been used.

Good job thr3e for ruining this for everyone.

On their website, you can download the "Classic" firmware which allows you to connect to the router and configure it manually the old fashioned way instead of going through the cloud. It ships however with the Cloud Connect firmware.

It "should." Is not sure what all you would use your router for but yes it will be a strong offering for the non-USB, non-Speed-Boost, non-DLNA home users.

Where is your facts on Linksys cancelled all the outstanding 40% coupons?

The code I provided could be the same as the one was sold on ebay, and plus if it is SINGLE use like you said... it would of not worked for some others (while the couple was still good).. it would probably show up as coupon not vailid.

I simply did some googling, found the code and shared on here, and now you're bashing me
