Why not slick? I'd prefer just the saw at 399 over the saw + stand at 550, but seems good if you want the stand too.

Costco has a saw stand everyday for 80 bucks, i got two different saws and works just fine. This one is overpriced and better off waiting on a better deal on a saw and picking up the costco stand.

I guess I don't get why you are so down on it then. Sure you might be finding something cheaper at Costco or HF but this saw retails at the big box stores for $599, and from Amazon you can get the saw, stand, no tax depending on your state for $543.

I agree here. I'd also be interested in what stand from Costco you're talking about as well.

I've been watching this saw for some time on Amazon and I've also used camelcamelcamel and their plugin to track things as well. The lowest price they have for this saw is $442 and the lowest price the stand has been is $165. In turn, the $559 (it's gone up since this post) price for the saw and stand is definitely cheaper than both parts combined at their lowest prices (according to camelcamelcamel) of $607 combined.

In addition, you could try selling the stand on Craiglist and get a $100 to $150 out of it which would drop the price of the saw down to around $409 to $459.

In turn, I'm curious what is a better deal because I'll wait if there is one.

Thank you for agreeing. If you are in a state that doesn't have Amazon sales tax, you can also save $30-$40 easily, and have this shipped for free.
