Also, be aware that you have to have a Direct X 11 capable graphics card to play on the PC. One of my friends has a GTX285 and bought it, but can't play it lol

I love this game but holy hell are some of the weapons overpowered. Once you unlock the jackal, you can pretty much destroy anyone ranked below you. You have time to do a full reload, take nap and fill out your tax return and still be able to kill anyone who doesn't also have a jackal or an alien gun.

Starting tomorrow it should be $40 at Gamestop, and there's a decent chance you have a 15% off a new game coupon in your Poweruprewards account.

Oh get a job? Just get a job? Why don't I strap on my job helmet, and squeeze into a job cannon, and fire off into job land, where jobs grow on jobbies? http://theskinnypost.blogspot.com |

I'm 3/4 of the way through Crysis 3 and one chapter I completed was very intense and the setting/atmosphere was wonderful. The thing I liked was the map is more or a less a very large square kind of map and you can tackle the objectives in multiple ways, go straight on, take a cave on the outer edge, or go from below a raised house and up into it (or down). Whether or not this truly made it a larger area map or just gave that feeling, I still like it a lot more. I found that once I cleared the path to the main objective, I wanted to back track and stealth kill all the other CELL soldiers that were walking around another part of the map. I never got that feeling in Crysis 2. I like this much better than in Crysis 1, I think because the gun mechanics are much better, UI is clean and tagging is really fun (I tag everything) and I didn't like micromanaging my suit. Armor vs stealth is good enough for me + the nano suit mods and gun mods. Not to mention I found myself getting off-track in Crysis 1, just started killing random enemies and then got bored or lost b/c of the free-roam (like I said, I need direction haha). Crysis 3 is the happy medium IMO. So if you're expecting Crysis 1, it's not there, but it's not locked down like 2 was. I'm the sort of gamer where I like to remove the "fog of war" on maps by going into unexplored areas before moving on like in Bioshock etc. Last edited by aznguyen316; 03-05-2013 at 02:45 PM.. |
