so i'm on the fence on this.
in the market for a docsis 3.0 modem. I was going to get the motorolla sb6141 based an awesome reviews. http://thewirecutter.com/reviews/...la-sb6141/
supposedly you can get it on fleabay from some sellers with an "offer" of $65. I saw this on some thread about the older model 6121.
The 6141 offers 8 channel bonding. it looks like this cisco only offers 4 channel bonding. Shouldn't matter for most ISP's today, but 8 channel bonding might be better for future-proofing your modem. (fyi channel bonding seems to be the major advantage of upgrading to docsis 3.0)
some reviews on amazon and newegg mention stability problems with the modem. it looks like it might have been fixed with firmware updates pushed out by comcast... but something else to consider.
I might just go sb6141, for the 8 channel bonding. Its only $20 more. too bad the 40% coupon is dead, it would have made the choice a lot easier.
any feedback DPC3008 vs sb6141 would be appreciated
