Not here. I think there's a lot of truth in Rockwell's minimalist approach. Many people will point out that he doesn't follow what he preaches, but what they don't realize is that he makes money by reviewing different cameras/lenses on his blog. He emphasizes on the technique and effort, not on a $$$ camera/lens, which I agree.

As for "what do you know" bit - the most important thing you HAVE to know is what your needs are, how serious is your photography, and what's your budget. All of which you know best. If there's a function that you need that the other body doesn't have, then go with what you need, not what other people are telling you is better.

I see $2399, not $2329 like OP. What gives?

Interesting comparison. He prefers the size/feel of the Canon, and the high ISO over the Nikon.
