the amazon warehouse has about 40 of them that were damaged or returned...i like the amzn warehouse...but damaged tech items without a warranty is a big risk.

Amazon gives you a 30 day guarantee and then you have the choice to buy an aftermarket warranty.

So I am right that it doesn't come with any warranty whatsoever you have to buy a squaretrade one and spend more money. Why can't someone point that out? Would it ruin the "deal" for you?

What I am afraid of is why so many returns ? Other similar TVs have 5 or 6 refurbished units, not 40...

Some companies will warranty a product from the mfg date, but Amazon won't guarantee they will honor it. So YMMV. Squaretrade is the only way to be sure.
