I met the UPS guy as he was tossing the package on its end. I said "that is a TV", he said "your kidding me". Nope. "Wow the box is in pretty bad shape, do you want to refuse it?" I said no, I will have to take a look first. The packaging was a joke, and I also had dents everywhere on the back of TV, a scratch on the screen , and the glass bead around bezel was chipped. I hooked it up anyways and , the picture is surprisingly very nice, manufacturing date is May 2012,
I am going to return it, too much risk with the way this thing has been handled.
How do you check total hours usage on these TVs, is there a service menu?
Also,What is the advice on returning item without incurring shipping cost?
I can choose to return item when I log in to my account but haven't gone far enough to get to shipping label.
Should I speak to them by phone or just send it back via the return process and print UPS label. It says it will refund within 2 days of receiving item back in warehouse.
From the comments, it seems everyone spoke to a rep that wanted a refund or credit.
I don't want to be charged shipping .
