Quitcherbitchin. This is an excellent magazine, at .40/issue it's a no-brainer.

Now if only they had Fine Woodworking... or Fine Homebuilding, then we'd be living.

This used to be a decent magazine--I subscribed for about 3 years. Then it got uber-stupid. Articles on "How to change the spray nozzle on your garden hose" and "The best way to spray lubricant on your door hinges". Literally, basic, STUPID stuff like that.

FREE is too much to pay for this magazine. Big Grin
To be fair though, you'd probably be surprised at how many people don't know how to do simple things like that. I have a friend whose husband did not know how to hang up a picture. My guess is he doesn't know how to change the nozzle on his garden hose neither.

I'm in for 4 years. Even better than the $5/yr deal I got for my dad for Christmas.

If you are on SD, you can use internet. I doubt when you need something done, you'd really look for the mag with the issue that had your problem's solution ! Just sayin'. Google is biggest mag of 'em all.

A few weeks ago I built large, copper garden trellis panels that were featured in the magazine and look awesome. I'll be installing them in my yard this spring.

And their article about building a small retaining wall prodded me into building my own along one side of my house. Looks great and is solid.

I also used plans they had to build a wall-length workbench in my garage.

So, I think some of their items are fit for fema trailers Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Google is great if you know what you're looking for. Magazine's like this are great when you don't necessarily know what you're looking for and just stumble on some gem of an idea you never would have thought of.
