What time does dinner start?

And does it work on the grilled chicken and Swiss sandwhich?

It'd be 8.99 for 2 for 17.98 - $10 = 7.98 + plus our drinks and a nice tip for the waiter.

Would that work? Wouldn't mind grabbing a cheap bite with the gf while I'm around anyways (getting a free coffee from Starbucks around as well Stick Out Tongue)

I work for Outback. ill answer some questions.

Oh it is also nice to tip your server on the pre comp amount woot

Yes on Burgers and yes on dinner salads.

Yes outback has started giving smaller portions of fries. If you are disappointed with the amount you are getting simply ask your server or better yet a manager for some more. Just say you are unhappy with the amount you got and politely ask for more.
We can choose two Outbacks where we live and one is atrocious with 2 hour waits lousy service and poor food. The other location which is in the opposite direction of our house but where my in laws live is completely opposite never a wait (Even on Sat. with a powerboat show), terrific service, and delicious food.

I brought this up to both managers and the poor one said that they strive to stay the exact same across the board and sorry your meal wasn't satisfactory and left. When I talked to the Great Outback she said the same thing and came back with a free desert. lol!!!!

I know this is not your fault at all.

I typically go curbside and rarely go anymore. I think its absurd for a restaurant that claims to be a high end chain to scrimp on FRIES.

To be honest it is bad business. Getting very few fries can make someone not want to come back somewhere and getting a lot can make them want to come back more, and the amount of money they pay to throw a few extra fries on the plate is probably between 25-50 cents. I can only imagine that it would MORE than pay for itself over time.

I was rather disappointed with the changes they made to their burgers the last time I went. Its seems that they are using a lot of filler now (bread crumbs, etc) instead of ground beef, and of course the portions are smaller. They barely give you any fries these days. I've never thought about asking for more fries at a restaurant before, as they used to hook them up.

Just a heads up for anyone that used to love their burgers like I did.
Burger size went from 8oz patty to 7oz almost 3-4 years ago. Fries are smaller in SIZE as of 2 months ago, but has had the same portion size (oz) for almost 5 years.

No change in meat quality.

Hidden Menu at Outback fried mushrooms with blooming onion sauce.... FREAKIN' LEGIT!!!

FYI.

Me too...it's been about 3-4hrs...maybe I'll try again.
This is now at manager's discretion. Nationwide, we would rather focus on getting the food that is on the menu to you. Some things that we don't prep for anymore only slow down your food and everyone else's because of the time taken.

But, OMG, are/were they tasty.

Cheers!

Don't quote me on this, because I'm doing it from memory.
5oz Kid's steak medallions 7.99
5oz grilled chicken 5.49 or 5.99
Kid Mac 5.49ish (no side item, just pasta bowl.)
Grilled Cheese 5.49
Kid's Ribs 7.29
Chk Fingers ummmmmm... ate them last night, but have no idea. 5.49 or 5.99
Kid's burger (5oz patty) about the same price. 5-something

All come with drink and side save for the kidmac. No refills on juice or milk, though. May vary by your location. Some do, some don't

You're thinking of "no worries wednesdays", and, no, it can't. It's in the fine print.

Thats exactly it. Restaurants fill you up on bread, potatoes and pasta as that doesn't cost them much. If they are too cheap to give me fries I am left to wonder how cheap they are being with the steaks/etc.
