I've seen quite a few mounts, but here is something I prefer and just made better sense:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/150938018948 Vehicle Compatibility: http://www.mountekusa. Amazon usually sells it around $24, but on ebay you get ebay bucks and free shipping. Just a thought for those who are looking for something different than windshield, dash, or vent mounts. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004G1L52Q/ I'm on a diet and that's why I don't date fat chicks.

Many good reviews on amazon but I'll paste my review here for this.
This is a hit or miss product based on your vehicle. On my friends car with many flat and smooth surfaces he has many mounting options. In my car a Mercedes C350, not so much. I have a heavily curvaceous and textured interior with few mounting options. I was able to find a boderline acceptable spot for it in front of my radio display but it partially blocks my view of the radio channels. This isn't IOttie's fault but just bad luck on my part. Now for the review of the unit, I'll start with the GOOD: 1. Suction is better than any other mount that I have tried on FLAT or SMOOTH surfaces. Second to none. No suction cup is forever so you will have to remount it every so often just for safety sake. 2. One touch operation is very clever. 3. Size and simplicity meaning there aren't all of these adjustable arms everywhere causing an eyesore. Now the BAD: 1. First thing I noticed is the foam pad that holds the phone in place. It is a very soft very smooth foam material. If your phone is flat and smooth on the side like an iPhone there is a chance it can slide downward on rougher riding vehicles. The material they should have used is a TEXTURED RUBBER. I went ahead and ordered this from Amazon, it is a sticky dash pad that I plan to cut up and double stick tape in place of the factory foam pads. Jelly Sticky Pad by HandStands It is much tackier and I feel more confident that it will hold my phone in place better. 2. The one touch button as well as the backing of the circular phone holder should also have a suede or rubber texture to it. I'm afraid the tension of that button pressed up against the phone backing and the hard plastic can cause some scuff marks over time. I may cut a circle out of the sticky pad and glue that onto the circle area where the back of my phone is pressed up against. 3. I feel the arms that hold the phone on the sides are too short both in length and depth. If it were larger it would have more surface area along the side of the phone to grip. If it were deeper, you could have more confidence in it gripping in case you have a thicker case on your phone. 4. I wish the tension in the holding arms were just a little bit stronger as I noticed my phone sliding up in the mountain ride to my mom's house. It was ever so slight and it may also be due to the smooth foam pad which I think is the real problem. 5. I would gladly pay $2 more if they included a FLEXIBLE silicon dash pad. FLEXIBLE being the key word because car interiors have such variable levels of texture and the IOttie cannot overcome them all. Since I was unable to mount it to my SLIGHTLY curved and textured dash I went to ebay and bought a flexible silicon dash pad. http://www.ebay.com/itm/251230480...149 I want to give this a 4 star but since I had to pay my own money to give it some plastic surgery I have to leave it at 3 stars because I got my phone mounted but not where I'd ideally like it. I know this is highly rated here but I did want to share my unbiased opinion of the product. IOttie, I hope you're listening ![]() Last edited by methodz; 03-04-2013 at 05:37 PM..
