How does the 23xi compare to the ASUS VS239H-P 23-Inch Full-HD LED IPS Monitor? Thanks.

The review is for the 2311xi. Not sure how similar that is to the 23xi.

I bought 2311xi at BB not so long ago for a buddy at work. I am very impressed, matte screen,excellent build quality for the price. Most likrly they have the same panel.

That's the 2311xi. I have three of the 2311x's that use the TN panels instead of iPS on the 2311xi, (but for what I paid for them, I'm not complaining).


I think the 23xi is too new to have been reviewed by anandtech.

Correct, no VESA mount. I rarely touch my monitors so a plastic feel isn't that detrimental. Plus most monitors are made of plastic.

Now a plastic phone on the other hand...............................that's the Samsung way.....

Agree that monitor is too new to be reviewed. Amazon only has 2 reviews. Generally, picture quality seems to be rather good.

I don't have a problem with plastic (my 2311x's are very nice) I just hate it when companies try to fool consumers, by making it look like it's a different material by designing it like so. I mean look at this thing. I'm sure you thought it was aluminum too right, just based on the pics?


Anyway, as long as it does decently well to the 2311xi, I guess it's an okay deal, but should wait for anandtech to do a review first before jumping on board, personally, since reviews on NewEgg and Amazon have been mediocre at best.


I'll stick to my $80 2311x's.
