Terrible deal. You can get forged lowers on gunbroker reliably for under $200 and aero precision has had $200 instock for weeks.
Yes I know this is billet, that means you are sacrificing strength, or weight for reinforcement, for a slightly better finish. The price crisis is on its way out, these "instock at 2-4x msrp" deals need to stop. Those who can not do, resell slick deals on craigslist.

Billets are nice. True they may be slightly weaker than forged, assuming they are made to the same dimensions, but if you're doing billet, why would you adhere to the same dimensions if you didnt need to? Also, it's the lower. Isnt exposed to much force. |
