Sony 7.1 HD Reciever - Refurb $250 - STR-DH720

Correct on all fronts.

I don't have the room (or speakers) for 7.1. All of my inputs were HDMI, so I didn't need any legacy inputs or component inputs. I saw recently that a VERY LIMITED number of BB stores had Pioneer Elite VSX-50/51s for $149/$199. That would have been the steal of the decade. I got my $50s at $199 - 10% off open box coupon (no remote/no manual). They blow away the HK (in terms of quality, features and inputs).

I've just found if you're willing to hunt -- and wait -- you can get a lot of receiver (relatively speaking) for $250. I wouldn't put the Sony the OP listed in that category.
