Staples® Strobelle Bonded Leather Mid-Back Chair, Brown for $40 AC In-store

Sitting in my brand new Osgood.. comfy.

Okay, so I ended up getting one of those Osgood chairs for $50 yesterday evening. Basically the stars aligned and it worked out perfecty for me.

Went to the local staples, tried getting the osgood but was denied use of the coupon.
Went home, found another one nearby. Then I looked to see if there were any other coupons I could use, was pretty much willing to pay full price of $99 Didnt really find anything that I could use that night.

Went to the next store, walked in about 6:55. Apparently they close at 7pm I didnt know. A few minutes in I hear over the loud speaker they are closing, and buy whatever you want to buy now. Had someone bring me out the osgood from the back, he took it to the register for me.
Had the chair scanned, and gave them the coupon. Older guy at register first said it wouldnt work, I explained how the coupon said that the chair must be REGULARLY PRICED at $169 or above (its regularly 169.99) and the guy who brought me the chair quickly read it and agreed with me, but the system still wouldnt take it. Manager was walking by and they had him do a quick override. Manager typed in numbers as quick as he could, and as soon as he hit the last number turned around and walked away.

Guys at register were surprised, saying how I got such a great deal. Then they said something like, "are you from east europe? we get people from east euorope in here and they always get good deals, and try to negotiate prices" lol

So got the osgood for $50, but it worked out perfectly. Guys just wanted to go home. If I hit a couple more red lights or didnt look for those coupons at home I think I wouldnt of gotten the deal.
