The quality and sound is so so beside that. You can remove the power adapter and place it outside the speaker, that does fix the problem, but it isn't a solution for everyone. Fyi, i got two of these free after rebate and personally, I would not pay $12 for these.

+1. Got these free after rebate to use with my laptop at work when I can't use headphones. The line noise/hum is quite annoying. Clarity is good enough for TV/ youtube videos but don't expect bass out of them. Gave them away and went back to the Arctic S111 [newegg.com] I was using previously.
