So is the difference between USB 2.0 to 3.0 similar to downloading pictures from a Canon Elph with a Digic Processor compared to just the SD card? I see it's backwards compatible with USB 2.0, but does that cause any hiccups or issues? Half our laptops have usb 3.0, half have 2.0. And we transfer a lot of photos and videos back and forth. I use the Canon and mini USB b/c of the speed.
Maybe you and the front page mod think so but if another product has the same great deal percentage but has more thumbs up in less time then clearly SDers as a whole don't agree with you. Better deals get more thumbs up and faster.
That's the problem here, SDers should decide what's truly a Skillfully, not the guy who posted the deal. It's just amazing how often warm deals by a mod get front page but sometimes hot deals miss out. People are way to concerned about rep.
Remember this is only 16GB. A rebate for 16GB isn't even worth it. 16GB right now is like 4GB one year ago.
is there anyway to get a key-ring in there? the images look like it has a small hole for a lanyard...but also looks like its designed to "hold" the cap while in use
i just lost my 32gb 3.0 pnc somewhere (car, house, forest?) and looking for a solid replacement
It has to be a very small key ring to fit. I tried that on mine for a few days and didn't like it. I used some heavy duty string and tied a nice loop instead. Unfortunately, the cap won't fit with either a key or a significant string lanyard either.
does anyone know if it has a hole so I can put it on a keychain? That is a deal breaker for me, thanks
They do on the bottom side that is plastic. But be forewarned... I used it on my keychain for about a year and eventually the back plastic piece came loose and the entire thing fell apart. the back plastic has notches in it that the board seats in. Now I was able to super glue the thing back in and it's been good ever since. Well I just looked back at order history I guess I ordered this one. AS102-16G-RGY[newegg.com]This one doesn't have a P in the model number so the deal USB stick may be different.
I do want to say this is by far the best USB stick I own and have owned. Transfer rates are amazing and the price is right! I bought another one on the last deal just to have a spare and a buddy ended up buying it off of me for $20 because he liked it too lol. I've owned mine for at least 3 years now and it's still going strong. No degradation in performance whatsoever (Just a little faded and scratched up lol)
