You are technically correct. But if the TV hasn't been previously registered and has a recent mfg date, they might provide service. YMMV. Square Trade is the only way to be sure you are covered. Of course Amazon guarantees 30 days. Also, you might want to read this: http://forums.anandtech.com/archi...51925.html YMMV Last edited by The_Linux_Crew; 03-05-2013 at 09:49 AM.. |

http://www.amazon.com/SquareTrade...quaretrade Amazon always has it for cheaper... If you buy the Used - Acceptable you can get the Square Trade warranty for 36 because it's in the 300-350 bracket. I see no specific warranty for a Open Box version of a TV. |

The main caveat is that the Airport Express works best paired with an Airport Extreme. You can use it along with non-Apple routers, but whether or not it works is going to depend on what features your router offers. |

I bought the 55" version of this TV two months ago when it was on sale on Amazon. I am not a heavy TV user, and the panel died on me last week and needs servicing already. I called in the warranty and they just picked it up today to "fix it". Needless to say that dealing with Panasonic customer service is a hassle to say the least. Based on this, I would recommend staying clear of any Panasonic LED. Good luck!

The last time a warehouse TV deal came up on a panasonic plasma, TC-P50ST50, I found out the following and posted it in the thread:
http://slickdeals.net/f/5828354-A...740?page=2 I spoke to an Amazon rep and she told me this: - There is no manufacturer's warranty on these warehouse TVs - You can only add a Square trade TV warranty specifically for open boxes - costs $44.99 for a year (1 year option only, no 3/4 year options) - The TV can be returned without any return shipping fee charged to the customer only if it didn't turn on or had a damage/problem not detailed when making the purchase - The return shipping costs $58.25 (based on the product weight) if you decide to return the TV because you didn't like the picture or for any other similar reason I still went ahead and gave it a shot on a "Like New" TV with the hope that Amazon wouldn't screw this up. Suprise Surprise!!!!! The TV screen came completely cracked, the stand was missing screws, and the delivery guy told me that it was the third TV he was delivering that day and all of them had similar issues (they were cracked) and told me to never order such a thing. Though he took it back and Amazon refunded my purchase, Amazon refused to send a replacement and told me that the warehouse department is more of a spin off of Amazon and they have no control over them.
