The link provided points to a Legendary Wine Cellar sweepstakes sponsored by Casillero del Diablo. According to the rules [facebook.com]:

PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded. The Grand Prize winner will receive the Wine Enthusiast® Trilogy Wine Cellar. Prize does not include alcohol. Approximate retail value of prize (including shipping) is $1,795.00.

There is NO indication or mention of the free subscriptions noted in the OP in the rules or the sponsor's Facebook page.

First I used the 2nd link to'like' them...

Then I came back to this post and clicked on the 1st link and got the page to enter the sweepstakes where it indicated the first 3000 would win a free sub. Hit submit. Done.

Your post would give the impression that is it very likely that SD'ers would get the subscription. When in fact it is a sweepstakes that was posted on 3/4 from sites frequented by thousands. Considering the ARV and ease of entry it is truly YMMV for those who didn't get in on the first day.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion - I was saying it "worked" in reference to the post above mine where someone said there was no info about the freebie when they tried to sign up. I did it and it worked for me - meaning I was able to enter. But yes - it is totally ymmv with most freebies and esp those with limited numbers.

With all due respect it was not an opinion. I posted because I entered that sweepstakes when it went live and merely commented to prevent assumptions from being made about the availability of the publication noted.
