Free Hazelnut Macchiato at Starbucks

got in on one here in Chicago. Had to ask the counter for "samples of the new drink". A friend went in later and was turned down (the lady didn't know about the promo), so some degree of YMMV...

Okay i went to another store and tried it again lol

I showed the guy pictures of the flyer and asked if he knew about it and he said the person with them walked out of the store with coupons in his apron?!?!

Im like wtf.... can i just use it and he said you need the coupon.

He hesitated but ended up giving me free coffee
Had to give him discount code 350 and it worked like a charm

no flyers in my local stores. Someone resembling Eric Chen was seen running away from each store.

Just another confirmation that this should work.

I just went into my local starbucks (Gilbert, AZ), and I asked them about the new Hazelnut Macchiato and if they had any specials deal on this new flavor. The 1st guy said he didn't know, but asked a 2nd guy, who found the coupon. Once they did, they rung up my Free HM ^_^

However, they also said that there were instructions informing them that they could give out 15 coupons a day. So again, this maybe a YMMV.

Printed out the flyer and it worked.

The barista in Richmond gave me a coupon after I inquired about it. I didn't see any flyers lying around.

In terms of taste, I prefer the Caramel Macchiato over the Hazelnut.

Stores are getting these coupons next couple days. Our manager was aware of it and gave to us for free. Not fond of the drink however - and wondering if it's possible to hold the hazelnut sauce and make it a vanilla latte
