This is a great system for those who need an inexpensive system with decent graphics. Basically, with AMD systems, you trade some CPU power for better integrated graphics. If you need a faster CPU, go with Intel Core i3/i5. If you need solid entry-level 3D graphics capability, choose AMD A8/A10.

In comparison to the recent Lenovo i5 deal, this PC has a slower processor but better integrated graphics, USB 3.0, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. If you were on the fence about the Lenovo thinking you needed an HD 6670, wireless connectivity and/or USB 3.0 ports in it, give this a try.

I stayed away from the Lenovo deal due to the lack of USB 3.0....
but this one has USB 3.0, plus better RAM, and better graphics.
I'm pulling the trigger.

Another (albeit small) benefit is this has wireless capability built in. Lenovo didn't.

If you really need hdmi, you could buy a cheapo video card like Radeon 5450/6450 for $15 AR.

reserve in store and use app store coupons. I think the $10 off $75 does not exclude computers Stick Out Tongue
currently the third coupon from the beginning. If you checkin today, you should get it day after tomorrow (assuming you checkin in today, tomorrow, and day after tomorrow).

No idea if it will stack (with this $75 off coupon), but I would think it's worth a shot if your local staples has one ready to go.

Some GPU benchmarks [videocardbenchmark.net]. Looks like it has about one-fifth the power of a GeForce GTX 480 which is fine for most people but this is not for heavy games.

Unfortunately, those are inferior in all ways (power consumption, video rendering, gaming) to the GPU in the AMD A10 5700. If you get a video card with this setup, you go big or dont even bother.

Meh, I priced this in my head using parts from recent deals, and it came to like $200.
