SALE EXTENDED TO SEPTEMBER 2ND

The Kev Master got an email from Redshift Motorsports this morning, that they are running their Koni Spring Sale, which saves 20% off the shocks and runs till 9/2/2013. He knows if anyone is looking for new shocks, this deal is pretty good especially since they are one of the more reliable, adjustable and fully serviceable shocks. The shocks also carry a lifetime warranty on them.

Quite a few SDers over the years have ordered their Koni stuff from Redshift and have been very happy with the service they have provided. He has even had SDers tell him that some of their prices were a decent bit cheaper than what they could get elsewhere, mainly because there is no sales tax on the shocks outside the state of PA.

Also, Redshift carries a vast variety of springs, if SDers want to upgrade their springs and also coilover kits for those who want to drive fast and look cool at the same time. They also carry more than just Koni stuff in case someone wants to put Koni shocks with Ground Control inserts with Eibach springs.

Though Redshift specializes in Honda, he would also like to note that this offer applies to Koni suspension for all cars as Redshift stocks lots of different Koni applications available, including Saab, BMW, Mazda, Toyota and maybe, even for your Trabant.

He would like SDers who are on the fence about starting to autocross or go circuit racing, to talk to Chris about their setup needs as he has built and had parts he had developed on many National Championship winning cars.

He knows you can do a product catalog search here:

OP, you really should change your avatar to Duffman...that's the voice I hear every time I read your posts.
Sounds more like Jeffrey "Jeff" Albertson, better known as Comic Book Guy to me!

Why the Scion? I've been wondering which myself.

Neither come with turbocharging options yet, right?

Does Koni have any shocks for 5th gen Camry?
The Kev Master knows there are aftermarket turbo options for the FRS/BRZ.

He has had discussions with Koni on making Koni shocks for the 5th Gen Camry but they have concluded that the market demand for those shocks are limited and are not interested in producing them. He was looking for a set for The April Mistress' 05 Sports Edition.

Props for Koni shocks...

No props for OP since he's referring to himself in third person. That's pretty silly, IMO.

Summit Racing gave me a pretty good quote for a pair of front and rear for my Cobalt SS. Looks like they're showing the discount, too.

The Kev Master knows they can improve the ride and if they are externally adjustable as some models are externally adjustable and some are not, they can be dialed even further to suit the driving conditions.

However, if the spring rates are too high then the shocks will not help.

The price quoted on the shocks I need is unreal. Thanks again, Kev Master. Unfortunately, they stopped making the rears for my other car, so I am SOL on that one Frown

The Kev Master suggests trolling forums, ebay and craigslist for the rears and then sending it in for servicing.

He has a connection to have them serviced by a Koni Authorized Service center, so onefatsurfer is welcome to hit him up for the contact when if he chooses to go down that route.

Seriously, the price I got quoted for 4 shocks is unbelievable. It's over $100 cheaper than even the cheapest vendor I usually see! This is a no brainer purchase for my MR2.
