I have a new Toro Power Clear Snow Blower. It ran out of gas while I was using it today. I put more in, but can't get it to start. Anything I should be looking at here or anyone have a suggestion? Thanks for any help.
Thanks all. Yes, I primed the gas tank, but when I pull the cord, it won't start. I thought maybe I flooded it or something, but was hoping there might be an easy solution. I'll try it again tomorrow to see if it works. It's still under warranty if I need it. Thanks again.
Are you using pre-mix (2 stroke) fuel in your non-pre-mix (4 stroke) snowblower?
Are you doing the opposite?
Do you have NEW fuel that you are using? If any question, get some fresh stuff, drain whatever you put in it, and start with a known-good fuel supply.
Did anything else happen when you ran out of gas (i.e. could there be a mechanical issue which coincided with low fuel condition?
Are you certain you are following the manufactuerer's recommended startup procedure? (i.e. full choke, WOT, 6 primes, pull till coughs, then half choke till starts or something similar) If so, do you ever get an ATTEMPT at starting?
