I have one with official jb on it. But its too laggy, so i unlocked and install cromi (custom rom) and its great now.

As soon as as I turned mine on it asked to upgrade. The ICS one is nice cause while in JB you have to unlock to root. While in ICS you can root without unlocking and then upgrade to JB with root but not have to unlock. That's being said this thing truly becomes a tablet when rooted, and unlocked, and and CROMI custom ROM is installed.

After getting the Viewpad for $150 and running Windoze 8 on it, all other deals seem either tooooo expensive or way toooo under powered.

ASUS has a dockable keyboard the can turn it into a sudo netbook, HD screen, and starts at 32gb. The dock has its own battery with can give another 8-10 hrs, full sized USB 2.0 port and a SD slot for more memory. I've got a 64gb micro, 64gb SD, 32gb on board and whatever thumb drive I want so great for movies over a long trip. Ubuntu touch is in the process of being ported so the netbook aspect is even better if you want to dual boot and keep the android side. I would say creative/artistic would be note and anything else ASUS. You can do your drawing on any tablet but from what I've played with the note wins that battle. |
