Thanks for response, do you have a Lenovo and were you able to use my first link to see the free offer? Some aren't getting the free Angry Birds, it may only work for Lenovo users. Also are you able to use it cross platform, one purchase for both PC and Tablet, now that would be sweet.

After you register, just go to the Angry Birds Star Wars. It will say $4.95, but when you go to it there will have be an option to just download it.

Not a big deal, mostly a PSA since not everyone is aware of AppUp and it's pretty well established now with other software on sale as well.

Windows 8 Windows 7 or even Vista. Bluestacks (BS?) works with everything. Isn't AppUp using Bluestacks underneath?

I've been using bluestacks for quite a while. Both on my Vista machine and my work XP pro work laptop. It takes some tweeking with certain games/apps but for free and still in beta I'm ok with that.

It streams radio apps like xiialivepro and slacker like a champ.

It does have it's issues, a lot that can be fixed by going to the settings and changing the app "size" from phone to tablet.

I wish it was easier to delete apps and it had the ability to update "game" apps on the fly, but overall I am 85% happy with it.

When it comes out of beta I will gladly buy the app. Because I don't use it to "game" much, I pulled up Angry Birds Star Wars and played a couple of levels on my Vista machine and it worked like a champ.

Most of the apps are commercial, but there are plenty of free examples too. You'll need to create an AppUp Center account before you can download these, but there's no need to provide any credit card information immediately: just your name and email address will allow you to download free apps. And when you do they'll appear in a central My Apps panel, from where you can launch, update or uninstall them in just a couple of clicks.

Please note, you'll need Adobe AIR Runtime installed for some of the apps to work. Leave the "Get Adobe AIR Runtime" box checked at the end of the installation process and a browser window should open at the relevant download page for you.
