im semi serious. I expected under 3lbs for "ultrabooks" now, especially since youre paying decent premium for HD 4000 iGPU at this price point.

Maybe premium is for apple like style points too.......Yoga is a nice eye catcher in public.....

the fan noise/heat can be annoying, but really only in tablet mode.Mostly because it's blowing hot air out and you likely don't want to be holding it there.

Some other impressions about the laptop:
-one of the best keyboards i've ever used.
-speaker placement is POOR. It's right below the keyboard (as in under the keys). which is fine in laptop mode, but in tablet mode, the sound can be quite low as the speakers are covered and/or facing the opposite direction.
- this is my second yoga, the first one, the left hinge broke/got stuck. I'm chalking it up to a defective unit as the replacement has been working fine.
- the yoga is a great laptop on its own, having the tablet feature is just small perk, but I wouldn't use that as a reason to get this laptop.

This is a very good laptop if you have the money. WIDI, good DPI, IPS, etc.

I hate you can't find it in orange with the newer i5s. The silver is okay, but the orange was quite nice looking.

Integrated graphics are going to supposedly be improved greatly in the new Intel chip. So I would wait anyway.

Just picked up a refurb for $850 Intel I5 with 8gb memory. Perfect for school.

I do believe I recall seeing the $900 new deal, but I think that may have been a B&M store so you would pay tax.

Also, the referbub UX31A only had a 90 day warranty. That's often pretty important (to me and I'm sure a few other people).
