Ugh, I don't even want the free things.

Damn, I was hoping for something reminiscent of that $.25 sale. Aside from the free songs, this is just advertisement for apps you probably wouldn't use to begin with, using deals and promotions they usually have (e.g. free "Gyft" cards). Oh well, Humble Android Bundle totally makes up for it

(including Popular Science, Maxim, Sports Illustrated, Bon Appetit, etc. But mostly obscure hobby magazines like Old House Journal or Practical Horseman).

Give me some Practical Horseman and Gangsta Divas, and I'm all set for my commute

Oh yea! Browsing the entire site is a literal pain. I hate the fact that it's endless scroll and there's no filters. There's a mixture of outsourced websites to purchase items, and items where you can purchase directly on thefancy.com. The coupon codes only work if you purchase directly on thefancy.com. Most of these nifty hipster items that are so cute and adorable are cheaply made and marked up.

For instance, this really cool Batman knife is $15 on thefancy.com [thefancy.com] will cost you $20 after shipping. It's only $10 after shipping on Amazon [amazon.com].

Moral of the story: check Amazon or eBay to see if it's just cheap junk that's marked up! (Do I see a business opportunity here...?)
