Roku has released their newest version ROKU 3 for $99.99 + Free shipping.

It has new design, new interface and headphone jack on the remote for private listening.

Supports only HDTV with HDMI interface.

Thanks for the info, I just bought the Roku XS yesterday not knowing the Roku 3 was coming out SO yes this a good deal in that point of view.

As for price, they have free shipping BUT charge sales tax so might want to wait for amazon to get it.

Also, Android HDMI sticks are making the Roku pretty much obsolete. You can buy a good Android stick for $50-$75, have access to Google Play and a load of apps/games that you're never going to get on a Roku box. Hard to believe Roku didn't just take the next logical step and craft a version of Jellybean for their system.

It's making waves in certain places because local TV stations have run coverage on Roku, stating that it's a cable/satellite alternative.

I think more 'old people' know what a Roku is than an Android device.
