Big speakers > Small speakers.

I dont care what the box they come in looks like.

Very tempted as I have a $40 GC and $15 in reward zone certificates

I try to save up some $$$ for the Play:5 while waiting for it to go on sale, but this thing has great review and it's affordable. May be I should jump on this, because I need 1 now. Anyone has first hand's on experience on this speaker please chime in.

EDIT_ found the battery it uses. BL-5C battery (make sure to get the 1050mah version) They also have a gold battery on ebay that is 2650mah. I got that and a charger for it for $7. I was able to score one of these on Amazon last night for $70. I grabbed it without even stopping to think much on it because I knew the price wouldn't stay there for long. Camelcamelcamel showed that being it's lowest price. Glad I grabbed it then because 15 minutes later it was back to $100. I can't wait to compare this to my Bose SoundDock!

Amazon had it for $65 when Best Buy had it at $65. (I know because I bought mine from Amazon) But $70 is still great. PLEASE post the review on here comparing it to the Bose dock. I'd love to hear your opinion

(Imo, the Bose has better quality / sounds a little fuller.. But for the price difference... If you can find this for $70 or lower, I think it's worth it.)

Yea- I figured Amazon hadn't gotten around to changing their price back and as soon as my order went through, the system noticed and changed it back. I bought first and read reviews after because I didn't trust that the $70 price tag would stay. I am super excited about it because it was just $30 more than a cheapy speaker, but I have no doubt it compares with the jambox and others. I would be surprised if it even comes close to the Bose, but who knows...
FYI- not sure how the $300 Bose Soundlink compares to the $300 portable Bose SoundDock. I am guessing since they are the same price and the SoundDock doesn't have bluetooth that it costs the same because it might sound a little better as a tradeoff.... I now the SoundLink is a newer product so you would think if it has better sound than the SoundDock AND has bluetooth that it would cost more. Anyways- way off topic but I will report back.
