Note that in this case "wireless" does not mean"solar powered." It requires 3 D cells, and in cold climates that means the more expensive alkaline D cells at a couple of bucks each.

Cold doesn't really affect them much. Mine work just fine in -10 degrees below zero in NW iowa. Great little lights.

I have two of these and I'm very happy with them.
1 is used as a temporary light in a pantry, until I have to time to wire in something else. The other is on my shed in my backyard where I don't have power. It gives a decent light and it's motion activated only when it's dark. |

It says "mounts anywhere". What does it take to mount? A couple of screws?

This is really tempting. My small yard is very poorly lit at night so it would be nice to try a couple of these out. Anyone else have experience with these?

I have exterior lights but as far as I know they don't go on automatically. I bought one to try it out. I might pick up another if they go on sale again and I like it.

Seems like these may have issues in wet weather? I'd be scared keeping this outside and exposed to the elements, especially when it rains.
