So I noticed it said no locking blades... Don't most Swiss Army style knives have a little metal flap that locks the blade... I mean a folding blade that doesn't have any lock at all is inherently dangerous to the user...
Nah. I have a slipjoint knife and it's perfectly safe unless some wingnut is using it.
Really? I've flown on some five hour flights and never gotten a meal.
I was on a flight last week that was only a little bit longer than that and got two (!) meals.
Then again, the flight left at 1 in the morning and all the passengers had been at BWI for hours after everything but the USO had closed, so everyone is pretty hungry.
I think this is good news. Not because I really care about having tiny knives or hockey sticks on a flight but because it means that hopefully some of the other more dumb rules will be lifted. So tired of security theater BS...
