My kids love Lego Land. They are young, though (5-9). They went to Disney and LL around the same time and they all said they liked LL better. The FL annual pass is a good deal, esp. since it includes parking and the water park. The water park is actually pretty cool, and not just for little kids. Hopefully the park will stay around for a while. Since it is not in Orlando and is for little kids, it does not directly compete with Disney and the other Orlando theme parks. Also, it is a much more basic, no-frills park. So the cost structure is a lot lower and it can survive without huge crowds. Plus, the fact that it helps promote Legos means that the company would probably keep it open for marketing purposes even if it just breaks even or operates at a small loss.
