OMG - I was able to clone the OS from a hard drive to an SSD. 8 seconds after pressing on, I am at the start screen. it's a whole different computer! woot!

So my "new" laptop came with the seal not actually sealed for the box and the sticker on the screen obviously moved.
What's the deal with that? |

You can try to pricematch to Staples, if you have a Microcenter AND a Staples store near you and then get the $100-$400 Staples trade-in. Your net cost should be around $390 with the tax on the $450. |

Can someone tell me how long it took to download the Windows updates? Mine wouldn't even download them, then after running the update troubleshooter, it still takes forever. |

Updates
It takes a loooooong time to download and install the Win8 updates. Be patient. You have to check for updates a few times to make sure you got all of them. |
