Missing IMDB app on iPhone 4S homescreen
For some reason the icon for the IMDB app is missing on my iPhone 4S's homescreen. It wasn't accidentally moved to any other page or folder, it's not blocked by parental controls, so I'm not sure where it could be. I can only open it by going to the spotlight search and searching for IMDB.
I always need Post Great Grains coupons!

Settings>General>Restrictions I guess another way to add it back is if you connect it to your computer and go through iTunes and delete it and then re-sync it back to the phone? Last edited by game4life; 03-06-2013 at 10:05 PM.. |

Here's something to consider. When you're in Spotlight Search and type in IMDB, wait a moment. If a name comes up on the right hand side of the IMDB listing, your app is actually in the folder with that name. Accidentally or not, you may have put the app in a folder. Otherwise, I would follow game4life's advice to re-sync it or re-download it onto your iPhone.
Are you by any chance using a jailbroken iPhone? If so, a number of Cydia tweaks enable a user to hide apps from the homescreen, so check those out too if it applies. Which came first: slick deals, or people hunting for them?

What ROM are you using? Probably need to reset the flashing on it with the Jelly Cookie and download the newest skin from XDA.

Have you tried hard rebooting your iPhone?
And perhaps u accidently moved it into a folder? |

Also try searching for the app in the app store to see if it shows up with an icon that says install or open. If the app store shows an open button try it and see what happens. |
