I've heard mixed things about the average rated clubs. Some say they look practically new, a few others say they're crappy. ANyone have personal experience with buying an average club from here?

i would definitely give it a shot with the 90-day guarantee. or, just find a different fairway wood in like new for the little bit of extra coin. i got a razr fit 3 and 5w for $134 (like new). that's a ridiculous deal.

i have been shopping at callaway CPO for many yrs, 95% great experience. personally i stay with at least very good and higher ratings clubs, if you are picky like me.

the bogo deal comes along few time a yr. th BF deals usually are the best. bought a set of irons and got a FREE driver last yr. sold the driver to my golf buddy.

got in on the driver with FREE putter last month, again, sold the putter and kept the driver

I got a couple of average clubs last year. Cosmetically they were a little rough but no problems with play ability. The 5 wood I got is now one of my "go to" clubs.

If you are looking for Callaway clubs, I will vouch for Callaway Preowened. I bought an iron set, putter, and driver from them.The irons and putter were rated "very good" and they were basically new clubs. The driver was rated "good" and it looked like it had been hit a few times for demo - there were light markings on the face. If you're looking at specific Callaways, and the price is better than, or not significantly higher than Ebay, I would recommend buying here. Their customer service and return policy is unmatched.

How far can you hit your 4H? Seems to me you may have a gap on your long fairway shots. 3W maybe?
